The Human Brain: Modelling and Remodelling International Conference
The Atlas was a principal feature of two conferences:
"The Human Brain: The Structural Basis for Understanding Human Brain Function and Dysfunction" (2002) and "The Human Brain II - Modelling and Remodelling" (2004) at the Santa Lucia Foundation, Rome. http://www.thehumanbrain.org
The structure of the brain was discussed in the context of genomic, molecular, cellular mechanisms governing chemical and morphological development of the human brain, mechanisms by which genes and environment interact to build the brain, and ways in which the brain becomes affected by pharmacological agents, injury and other pathological processes.
